If anyone had told me that researching, endlessly writing/revising, and proofreading my manuscript were going to be the easier parts of getting my book published, I would have laughed—probably not to their face, but at least on the inside.
The past several weeks of dealing with modern technology have been a challenge. (I was going to say, “has been torture,” but that seemed a bit strong.) I hadn’t the first idea of how to build a website or use publication formatting software. I’m not a fan of bookkeeping either, and all this business stuff had to be learned.
This was not my cup of tea at all.
But God… All I had to do was call upon Him, and He was right there to give me His strength in exchange for my weakness.
I shouldn’t have been as surprised as I was that the Lord led me exactly where I needed to go at each and every step. He directed me to kind people and useful resources that guided me through each aspect of this publication process.
What a gracious lesson in trusting our God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think.
